Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

As part of the Met Police violence against women and girls campaign PCSO Greatorex set up a crime prevention stall in Upminster High Street last night. There was a steady flow of residents enjoying the Friday evening who stopped to say hello and have a chat. Our next one will be on 21st August at 8pm on the High Street, weather permitting. PCSO Greatorex can also be found with the Upminster police Team on the 26th June at the New Windmill Hall community cafe at 11am.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
